October 4th Writer’s Event

Carolyn Hawley will be reading excerpts and signing her newest book,”Memoirs of an Agin Wood Nymph”. Her book is based on notes from the decade of the “70’s” and the “90’s”, comparing and contrasting her life during those times. Carolyn was part of the “Back to the Land” movement and shares tales of her years as a mother and modern day pioneer. During 20 years in Mendocino County, Ms. Hawley became a well known painter, poet and actress. When questioned about her life, Hawley simply says, “I worked hard,” adding she still loves life and lives it to the fullest at her Lake County hillside home.

Wow….Carolyn Hawley. What a blast from the past. She taught my kids piano, and I attended many concerts to enjoy her fine playing.

Looking forward to reading her book. Queenie
